There are two recently reported issues with Honorlock. The vendor has committed to fixing these issues by Monday, June 5 as part of an extension update. Click for more details about the issues.

  • On sporadic occasions, Honorlock proctoring is unexpectedly closing and students are unable to continue on with their assessment. This appears to be impacting both native Learning Management System (LMS) exams, as well as those being administered via the Honorlock Third-Party Exam tool.

  • When Browser Guard is enabled, students are prompted with a message to close all open tabs in order to move forward with their exam. However, on occasion, students are being presented with this specific prompt although there are no additional tabs open within their Chrome browser. In some of these instances, students are unable to proceed past this message.

Again, the vendor has committed to fixing both issues in an update to be performed by Monday, June 5. Please contact Honorlock support if you have questions.
