[RESOLVED] Canvas - Students missing from Groups

UPDATE 11/12 9AM: This issue is resolved.
Some students are missing from Groups within Canvas. Instructors commonly use groups to distribute assignments.
Impact to Users
- Students may not appear to be in the groups they were assigned to.
- Instructors may not be able to assign work based on groups they created.
- Please keep in mind that this disruption may have impacted students’ ability to submit assignments and work in a timely manner.
Workarounds
If instructors have an immediate need to restore a group for an exam or time-sensitive assignment, please contact the DoIT Help Desk for manual assistance.
Estimated time to resolution or next update
DoIT technologists are working to restore students to the appropriate groups.
