SOAR Ends. NetID activation to end August 31, 2001

SOAR finished this Friday, August 10th. Starting Tuesday, August 14th, the my.wisc.edu home page will be changed to:
SOAR finished this Friday (10th). On the following Tuesday (during the scheduled 5-7a.m. outage time), we will be changing the my.wisc.edu home page to:
- delete the activation link
- remove references to SOAR
- explain what new and continuing students need to do to use campus net resources
New students who want to activate their NetID by August 31st will be directed to go to the DoIT InfoLab to do so. InfoLab staff can just point them to: http://my.wisc.edu/NetID/ to activate.
