Due to a vendor license and pricing change, the UW–Madison Doodle service will transition from an unlimited access plan to a tiered licensing model beginning in December 2026.
The new Doodle license tiers will be:
-
Core license (unlimited): Available to all university users — includes essential scheduling capabilities, but has limits on active polls, booking pages and integrations
-
Full license (limited): Reserved for high-volume Doodle users — includes all Doodle features without restrictions
Key details & impact
-
No immediate action required: Your polls, booking pages and account settings will remain the same until the transition in December.
-
Pilot program (Oct. 19 to Dec. 4): We will launch a pilot program to test the new user experience, build support resources and evaluate alternative scheduling tools. We will invite the top 25 Doodle service power users on Oct. 7.
-
Want early access? We can share slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Email the Doodle Team to express interest.
