Cable Modem Service for Personal Payers

DoIT Cable Modem customers who pay for the service personally (not department requisitions) will now sign up for the service and be billed by Charter Communications. The new service is called 'BuckyBandwidth'.

DoIT Cable Modem customers who pay for the service personally (not department requisitions) will now sign up for the service and be billed by Charter Communications. The new service is called 'BuckyBandwidth'.

There are virtually no changes from the support point of view. DoIT Help Desk will continue to take calls, troubleshoot, and escalate as before.

Billing questions should be referred to Charter.

Personal pay customers see following differences:

  • New order page and procedure
  • Bills come from Charter
  • Some customers may have a service type of XCMDM, these are the ones ordered through the new Charter page.
