Streaming Media Services: Scheduled Service Outage (9am-12:30pm, Friday, 3/21) - UPDATE

UPDATE: Technologists completed hardware upgrades and maintenance on all Streaming Media Services streaming servers by 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Brief service interruptions occurred affecting all video formats (Windows Media, Flash, QuickTime, and Real). Please read on for more information.
The following lists the services and time frame of the service outage:
RealMedia/ Webstreamer/ Annenberg 9:36 - 9:44 a.m.
Windows Media 9:52 - 10:17 a.m.
Flash 10:38 - 10:42 a.m.
QuickTime 12:18 - 12:30 p.m.
We don't anticipate any extended interruptions after the initial maintenance event. However, if you experience any service outage, please email streaming@lists.wisc.edu or contact the DoIT Help Desk (608 264-4357).
