Charter has scheduled maintenance work from 2am to 6am on Monday morning of the 24th. UW cable modem customers will need to release/renew their IPs (a reboot would probably be easier.)

We will be doing some necessary maintenance early Monday morning of the 24th. We will be starting at 2am and have a planned outage window until 6am. The outage should really only last about 2 hours.

We will be changing the private IP space around and adding new public IPs.

For the UW, this will mean that the modem and PC IPs will now be in the 10.45.x.x range. This will also mean that all UW customers will need to release/renew their IPs (a reboot would probably be easier.)

Unplugging/replugging A/C power to the modem should not be necessary (but don't call the DoIT Help Desk without first having done so). Rebooting and relogging back on should the trick, but if it doesn't, please call the Help Desk at 264-4357, option-1.

I apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice, but hope you appreciate that DoIT and Charter are working to make your service even better.
