ISIS Will Be Taken Down At 5:45pm Today For An Emergency Fix

ISIS will be unavailable today (05/13/08) between 5:45pm to 10:45pm for an emergency hardware repair to the production database server.

After monitoring ISIS closely today, it has been determined that a problem with the production database server requires the replacement of a critical piece of machinery. ISIS will be down beginning at 5:45 p.m. today, and, at this point, DoIT staff and IBM engineers are estimating that it will be a 5-hour outage.

Unfortunately, this fix is not optional and it has to be done before there is possible loss of data. Thanks for your patience during these situations where we need to protect data and avoid serious system damage.
