DoIT Mainframe Upgrade – Final Testing & Cutover Successful

The final cutover to the mainframe upgrade occurred on Sunday morning, May 25, after extensive testing.

For information about accessing the new mainframe--particularly if you’re using the QWS3270 client on your desktop, without using VPN or the DoIT Dial-in pool—see http://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=7744. However, if you do not have a NetID and you are having trouble accessing the mainframe from a site external to the University, please contact the DoIT Help Desk for assistance.
