Microsoft Windows XP, UW Volume License Key not Validated

As you may have noticed, Microsoft has started invalidating Windows XP workstations installed using the UW's volume license key CTQBH...2DRDT within the United States.

The timing is right for it to be connected to Microsoft's Global Anti-Piracy day on 10/21 (http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2008/oct08/10-20GAPDPR.mspx).
Windows XP workstations that don't pass validation can still be used.
We are working with Microsoft to remove this block and will post updates as we receive them.
