Ameritech is doing a major upgrade and has a block out period for vm system orders done on centrexmate from October 19 to 25, 2000. During this period of time we in Network Operations are restrained from placing any orders. This affects the activation of voice mail boxes. I expect the type of vm calls you will get are people complaining that their vm box is not picking up or that they want their message waiting indicator light activated. Those at the HD will have to let them know that even though the customer sent the confirming e-mail(that they did the vm training and they recorded their name and greeting which initializes their vm box) we still cannot forward their calls into the vm system or activate their lights until sometime after 10-25-00.
