RESOLVED: Learn@UW/D2L experienced an issue that may have affected users at UW-EauClaire from about noon to about 3:00pm on Tuesday, Jan. 11. Users may have experienced login issues during this time frame.
The error message they could have received was:
The page cannot be displayed
You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow programs to be executed.
Please try the following:
* Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory should allow execute access.
HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
We pulled the offending server from the load balancer, and are working with the vendor to resolve the root of the issue.
