On Wednesday (08/14/02), normal Help Desk support for ResNet starts as student staff and early arrivals come in.
On Wednesday (08/14/02), normal Help Desk support for ResNet starts as student staff and early arrivals come in. Data access has been restored to all res halls. ResNet has provided conference goers with the direct ResNet phone number for support issues.
Resnet has pretty much opened up their support to *any* ethernet cards. While they do recommend certain kinds; they are willing to look at about anything as long as it meets their minimum OS requirements etc. Make sure to get the card type, room number and hall name. Do all troubleshooting possible.

Required case information (other than the usual problem symptom, troubleshooting and contact info, etc):
- Location (UW Residence Hall Name and Room Number)
- Convenient time for callback
- Ethernet card & Model number
- Computer brand and model
