On Thursday, 11/21/02 between 9:00-11:00am we will upgrade the operating system on one of the Cisco switches that connects us to the campus backbone. There may be intermittent outages during this period which will result in loss of Internet connectivity.
On Thursday, 11/21/02 between 9:00-11:00am we will upgrade the operating system on one of the Cisco switches that connects us to the campus backbone. There may be intermittent outages during this period which will result in loss of Internet connectivity. The upgrade is being done so that ResNet traffic that is bound for Internet 2 will be routed directly to an I2 connection and not be subject to Packetshaper filtering. This will hopefully alleviate some of the traffic congestion we are currently seeing on the Packetshaper link.
