Student/Facstaff Email Outage

An outage is scheduled for Sunday November 26, 2000 from 7:30 AM until 12:00 PM for Mail 1, Mail 2, Mail 3, Mail 4, Mail 5, Mail 6, Mail 7, Audumla, Brooks, Borden, and Wisc.edu to move equipment.
An outage is scheduled for Sunday November 26, 2000 from 7:30 AM until
12:00 PM for Mail 1, Mail 2, Mail 3, Mail 4, Mail 5, Mail 6, Mail 7,
Audumla, Brooks, Borden, and Wisc.edu to move equipment.
The outage to Mail 1-7 will mean the following:
What will be available:
- Dial-in access will be accessable
- The Internet will be accessable
- Email can be sent (out-bound only) - with the exception of an appoximately 30 minute period while Mail 5 is moved.
What will -not- be available:
- NO Help Desk tools
- NO mail can be downloaded during the outage period ( no POP access)
- NO modifications can be made to WiscWorld accounts (ie, no password
changes, no forward sets, and no activations)
The outage to Audumla, Brooks, Borden, and Wisc.edu WILL ONLY MEAN SLIGHT
DELAYS IN SOME SERVICES with the following exception:
- NO access to PH (on-line directory service) for approximately 30 minutes while Wisc.edu is moved.
