Course Guide now has a fresh look and feel along with some new and enhanced features! Course Guide is a useful resource to help students as they research courses, prepare to enroll or plan for the future.
New look for the Course Guide Portlet in My-UW
Find Courses makes it easier than ever to:
- View all active courses at UW-Madison
- Search for courses by specific criteria, such as:
- Interest Groups (First Year Interest Groups or Residence Halls)
- Special Designations (Service Learning options)
- Topics Courses Only
*NEW* Degree Planner lets you create lists of Favorite Courses, save courses you plan to take and create a Degree Plan and access the Schedule Planner. Drag and drop courses among terms in a Plan or from Favorites lists to create the plan that is right for you!
Find Instructors gives you an option to show all the instructors that are teaching or have taught courses in the last three years. You can search for instructor by name or subject. An improved display makes it easy to view additional information about an instructor, their teaching subjects and the courses they are teaching.
Course Guide now has Real-Time Seats!
Thanks to the hard work of the Course Guide team, in collaboration with ISIS, we now offer real-time seats information when viewing sections of courses in Course Guide. Simply select a term and any additional search criteria and click the green 'Find' button. When you expand the 'Sections' for a course in the results, the seats counts will be updated in real-time.
Course Guide is also available to parents, prospective students and others without a NetID at http://mycourseguide.wisc.edu.
Please contact the Course Guide project team with any questions at email@example.com.
