On Feburary 25th, an addtional 800 Emeritus and Retirees will be emailed notification that they now have access to the MY UW Portal. Their accounts are already active, no activation is required for them to get access. We will likely need only to provide assistance to them with logging in and using it.
Below is the message that will be sent Feb 25th.
Access to the My UW-Madison Web portal is now available to you. My UW-Madison provides personalized access to many online services. It also provides Web-based email (WiscMail) and an interactive calendar (WiscCal). To try it out, simply go to http://my.wisc.edu , enter your NetID and password and log in. Your NetID is the name that appears to the left of your @facstaff.wisc.edu email address (ex: janeuser@facstaff.wisc.edu). Your password is the same one you use to log in to your WiscWorld or WiscMail email account. If for some reason the NetID and password combination doesn't work, or you do not know what these are, contact the DoIT Help Desk at http://helpdesk.doit.wisc.edu, 264-HELP or help@doit.wisc.edu If you have any questions about how to set up My UW page views, or how to use WiscCal or WiscMail, click on the Help links within it.
