On Saturday, October 13, Blackboard will be upgrading the Bb Collaborate webconference client to version 12.1. Bb Collaborate online rooms will be unavailable during the scheduled maintenance window: Saturday October 13, 2012 at 9:00 PM until Sunday October 14, 2012 at 1:00 AM US Central. Users may experience longer than expected wait times to enter online rooms on Monday, October 15, as users download the new client.
What are the details of this release?
Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing 12.1 contains a number of resolved issues and makes available a Japanese translation of the interface. Please click here to review the release notes.
How do participants access the new release?
Participants will be required to download the full set of JAR files for version 12.1 as they enter their first Web Conferencing version 12 session after the upgrade is complete on Sunday, October 14, 2012. We suggest that you notify your participants of this update so they allow extra time to join sessions.
