Learn@UW/D2L - Service slow/login issues for some campuses 01/28/13: 02:20PM -02:37PM - RESOLVED

RESOLVED: Response times for Learn@UW/D2L were very slow for the following campuses: UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-Parkside, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, UW-Colleges and UW-Colleges Online, and UW-Extension Continuing Education Outreach and E-Learning (CEOEL). At 2:20 pm 1/28/2013, we received reports that users were experiencing very slow response times. We identified a problematic application server and took steps to mitigate the issue. Service returned to normal for all campuses as of 2:37PM.

Learn@UW technologists have engaged the vendor (D2L) and are investigating the cause of this disruption. We regret the problems this incident undoubtedly caused.
