Instructors: Gradebook does not copy with Copy Components feature

The Copy Components feature for gradebook categories/items is currently not working. However, there is a workaround (click heading for details).
The Learn@UW Import/Export Copy Components > Copy Components From Another Course option is not working properly for gradebook items and categories. It cannot be used to copy gradebook items and/or categories from another course. Technologists are working on resolving the issue.
In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, please do the following:
- Access your old course (the one from which you want to copy gradebook items and/or categories).
- Follow these instructions to export your grade items/categories from the course, making sure to include Grades in the export package.
- Access your new course.
- Follow these instructions to import the grade items/categories into the course, making sure to include Grades.
