Cisco AnyConnect - Compatibility Issues with Mac OS X 10.9 / Mavericks

AnyConnect may not operate reliably on Mac OS X 10.9 / Mavericks. There are intermittent disconnects with wireless connections. Wired connections may also disconnect, but not as frequently. Cisco is working with Apple to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
In the meantime, until this issue is resolved, users can configure the Mac OS X native VPN client. See [Link for document 12380 is unavailable at this time] for instructions on doing so.
