RESOLVED: All Learn@UW users experienced a service outage between 12:11 p.m. - 1:08 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014. The service outage was caused by a diagnostic process run by the vendor, Desire2Learn, while investigating a reported application issue. The diagnostic process was not expected to impact service availability. The outage ended when Learn@UW technologists failed over the database and restarted the necessary services.
The Learn@UW Utility will review the incident with the vendor and take steps to prevent a recurrence. We regret the interruption to the service.
