Planned outage of campus network for Wednesday, January 7 between 0000 and 0500

There was a planned outage of the Campus network that occured between 0000 and 0500 on Wednesday, January 7.
DoIT has completed the planned outage in relation to the 21st Century Network cutover for its Data Center (platform) just after the first of the year. When it occured, it gave the appearance of brief campus network outage. To minimize the impact, DoIT planned this outage to occur between 0000 and 0500 on Wednesday, January 7.
Even though the window for the cutover was five hours long, any actual outages could have occured for between 15 min. and an hour, anytime between the aforementioned hours. There were some outages that lasted past 0500, but all of those seemed to be cleared up by 0745.
