Emergency code change for all Cisco catalyst switches is scheduled at 6:00AM on January 18, 2001.This will affect virtually all campus clients.

Approximate Length: 15 minutes
As a result of network changes made last week to correct a security
vulnerability on our campus backbone we have discovered a bug in the
current version of code. We will be reverting to an older version of code
till a more stable version addressing the security vulnerability is available.
This will affect virtually all campus clients.
The following switches will not be affected as they were rebooted with the
older code when problems occurred.
