WiscWorld Account Turnoffs

WiscWorld accounts were turned off for those holders who are no longer students or faculty/staff. Please click here for handling information.

In February, WiscWorld accounts were turned off for those holders who are no longer students or faculty/staff. The total number is estimated at 3,657. Of the 1,828 student accounts marked for turn off, there are 1,565 who either have the email access or the dial access flags set to YES. Of the 1,829 facstaff accounts, there are 713 who either have the email access or the dial access flags set to YES.

Turn off Dates and Grace Period:

  • Tuesday 2/20/01 - No longer valid students turn off. Eligible for grace period.
  • Tuesday 2/27/01 No longer valid facstaff turn off. Eligible for grace period.
  • Tuesday 3/20/01 8AM - Grace period ends.
EVERYONE is eligible for the grace period until 3/20/01.
