Office 365 - Planner experiencing a degradation of service - RESOLVED

The Microsoft Office 365 Planner application is currently experiencing issues loading Plans. Affected users are unable to access Planner.

This issue has been resolved.

This appears in several different ways and is not always consistent. However, the main manifestation is that when clicking on a Plan, it does not load; instead, a wheel continues to spin. This has occurred across browsers and platforms. It does not always occur for all plans. This also affects the "All Plans" listing in the left-hand navigation pane, as it intermittently will not display any additional plans. Affected users may receive the following error message: "Microsoft Planner is being set up. It won't take long. Planner will open when its ready."

Microsoft is aware of this issue and currently looking into it. They have discovered the cause but are working on a resolution. Updates will be made to this news items when more details are available.
