New SMTP Relay support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 ElasticIP addresses Individuals who use Amazon Web Services EC2 ElasticIP and would like to programmatically send email to non-UW-Madison recipients can now use SMTP Relay as their preferred configuration to relay email. Learn how to use SMTP relay with AWS. 2. Secure and authenticate UW-Madison email marketing campaigns using DMARC DMARC is an important tool that makes UW-Madison email authentic and secure. Adopting DMARC makes it difficult for spammers and phishers to trick recipients into giving away sensitive information and encourages Gmail and other systems to deliver your messages to Inboxes. The UW-Madison Email team is working towards making campus email authentic and secure by publishing recommendations for sending DMARC compliant email using subdomains, configuring WiscList, and more.
