Box (Main Version) - Accessibility & usability barriers
The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist with Box.
Some keyboard navigation barriers may be difficult for people with vision or motor disabilities
There are focus states that do not meet the contrast minimum requirements of 3:1 for focus or hover states. This may make it hard for users to know where they are within the content of the page.
Main navigation items receive no focus within the Firefox web browser.
Screen reader accessibility barriers may impact users who are blind or have low vision and are using a screen reader or other assistive technology
There is a skip to main button that does receive focus when navigating via screen reader but the audio confirmation that you are on this button is inconsistently announced.
Some content within the Create Collection dialog can only be accessed by moving backwards through the content.
There is no audio indication that a user is sent to a new tab when they click on the “Create note” menu item.
