Windows - Accessing Safe Mode using msconfig

This document describes how to access safe mode using MSconfig in Windows. This process is useful for computers that boot too fast to use the F8 key.
  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Type msconfig and press enter.
  3. In the Boot tab, click the checkbox next to Safe Mode.
  4. If you need to use the internet while in Safe Mode, click Network.
  5. Click Okay. Your computer will now boot in Safe Mode each time its turned on. To return to regular mode, uncheck the Safe Mode checkbox and restart your machine.
