Chrome (Mac) - Using the Pop-Up Blocker

This document explains how to enable and disable Chrome's pop-up blocker. For general information on pop-up blockers, see Pop-Up Blocker - FAQ.

  1. In Chrome, go to Tools (the icon represented by three vertical dots), and select Settings.

  2. Select the Privacy and Security header on the left hand side, then click Site Settings.

  3. Locate the Content header, and click Pop-ups and redirects.

  4. Within Pop-ups and redirects, you can enable or disable the pop-up blocker by clicking the radio button.

  5. Additionally, you can specify which websites are blocked or allowed from opening pop-up windows by clicking the Add button to the right of the Block or Allow sections, respectively.
