Help Desk - Parking Application Procedure

This document will explain the procedure to handle a parking call.

Logging into the parking website

  1. The UW Transportation Services Application website can be accessed by clicking either "Permit Application System  (PAS)" or "Purchase a Parking Permit" (red buttons) at https://transportation.wisc.edu/permits/#Apply. You may have to scroll to find the most appropriate button.

  2. Once logged in with a NetID and password, you should see instructions on how to submit an application. More information about parking passes can be found here.

Troubleshooting Parking Log In

If the you are unable to log into the parking application website but can log into other NetID related services (such as Outlook or MyUW), please contact your Unit Transportation Coordinator.

Hospital Employees (without University affiliation):

As of 2019, Hospital employees who are not UW faculty, staff, or students use their UWHealth credentials to apply for parking instead of a NetID.

  • Hospital employees should use the UW Health login to apply for parking instead of the NetID login. Employees can apply on the transportation services page (https://transportation.wisc.edu/permits/) under the Permit Purchases section by clicking the Purchase a Parking Permit (EBusiness Portal) button.

  • When clicking the Employee or Student Login button on the next page, users are prompted with both a NetID or UWHealth sign-on. Hospital Employees should use their UW Health credentials to log in.

If a Hospital Employee does not know their UW Health credentials or has any issues logging in with the UW Health portal, please contact the UW Health Help Desk (608-265-7777).

Account Recovery

If you a have forgotten your NetID and/or password and are not a UW Health employee, please contact the DoIT Help Desk at (608)264-4357. Please have your Wiscard Photo ID available.
