WiscVPN GlobalProtect (iOS) - Installing

This document outlines the procedure for installing the new Palo Alto GlobalProtect iOS app. This app is for iOS versions 10.3 and later.

Downloading the App

  1. Launch the App Store.

  2. Search for GlobalProtect.
  3. Tap Get.

Native IPSEC Client

See WiscVPN (iOS) - Configure the Native VPN Client for instructions to connect to the native VPN client for iOS. 

Note: This is only available for dynamic IP addresses. If you need to connect to a Static IP address, you must download the GlobalProtect app instead.

GlobalProtect Legacy

GlobalProtect app 4.1.5 for iOS is now renamed GlobalProtect Legacy. We recommend that you uninstall any older versions of the app and download GlobalProtect from the App Store.
