Admin Tools - Enable Course Planning and Course Release forms

Enable use of Course Planning and Course Release forms

Select “Admin Tools” from the IPT navigation menu on the left.

On the Admin Tools landing page, select “Manage Group.”

Scroll down to the table at the bottom of the page. To enable the use of instructor planning forms, select the checkbox that reads “Use Course Planning & Course Release Forms.”

Once you’ve enabled the forms, you must select deadline dates for when instructors must submit their teaching preferences and planned course releases (buyouts) ahead of each academic term.

The second column, “Course Deadline,” refers to the date by which instructors must submit their teaching preferences for the upcoming term.

The third column, “Release Deadline,” refers to the date by which instructors must submit their planned course releases (buyouts) for the upcoming term.

To save your changes, select “Update” at the bottom of the page.
Once you’ve enabled these planning forms, provide your department’s instructors with the link to log in to the IPT home page. Upon logging in, instructors should be able to select “Course Planning Forms” from the IPT navigation menu on the left. This will open the Course Planning & Course Release Forms page, where instructors can then fill out and submit their information.
