The academic calendar for the current academic year is available on the Law School website.

The UW Academic Calendar, which gives information for several years into the future, is helpful in getting dates for the first day of classes (fall term only) and holidays, but does NOT provide accurate information for Law School orientation, last day of Law classes, Law exam periods, grade reports, nor spring-term first day of Law classes.

For your planning purposes, in general, the Law School starts a week earlier than the main UW-Madison campus in the spring semester to accommodate our two-week final exam period.
