Course Search & Enroll - "Error fetching packages: elastic search failed..." in Scheduler

This document explains the "Error fetching packages" error message in the Scheduler tool.

Please note: Some information or screenshots on this page may not reflect the new functionality and design changes that were implemented in Course Search & Enroll on May 20, 2021. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What it means

This error might appear after you enroll in more than one different special topics courses.

For example: ASIAN AM 240 Topics in Asian America Studies is a special topics course with 7 different topics. This means there are 7 different ASIAN AM 240 courses you can enroll in. In case you enroll in more than one topic, you might encounter this error in the Scheduler.

What to do

Unfortunately, this is an issue we have yet to resolve.

However, please note that this issue, while inconvenient, does not affect your enrollment in any way.
