SIS - Classic and ClassicPlus User Interfaces

Overview

Oracle PeopleSoft is gradually introducing ClassicPlus, a modernized user interface designed to improve usability and accessibility across SIS menus and pages. While the look and feel of certain pages will change, all functionality will remain the same.

This update marks the first step in a phased transition. ClassicPlus will be enabled on additional pages in future upgrades. We will provide information on subsequent updates as they are available.

The screenshot below illustrates the ClassicPlus user interface with sans-serif system font. Action buttons are rectangular, with a bold text for clarity. Icons are rendered flat, monochrome style, while hyperlinks appear in standard blue and positioned inline with text to support accessibility.

Tips for zooming in and out on ClassicPlus SIS pages

Below are zoom shortcuts that provide a quick way to adjust and personalize your view, especially on pages that are text-heavy and contain numerous fields.

Windows (most browsers)

• Zoom In: press Ctrl and Plus (+)
• Zoom Out: press Ctrl and Minus (-)
• Reset Zoom: press Ctrl and Zero (0)
• Browser Navigation: Go to Menu > View > Zoom

Mac (most browsers)

• Zoom In: press Command and Plus (+)
• Zoom Out: press Command and Minus (-)
• Reset Zoom: press Command and Zero (0)
• Browser Navigation: Go to Menu > View > Zoom
