Course Search & Enroll - Viewing Instructor Provided Content

Overview

The Instructor Provided Content section in Course Search & Enroll is used when instructors wish to provide additional information about a course offering. This may include an instructor-provided course description, additional detail on course topics, information about the course format, and a list of topic-related search keywords.

This section should not be confused with the “Textbooks & other materials” section. For more information, refer to Course Search & Enroll/Course Schedule - Viewing Textbook and Course Material Information.

Note: The "Instructor provided content" box will only appear if your instructor(s) have entered information into our system. If the box is unavailable, it means your instructor has not listed information in this platform.

Steps

1. Log in to MyUW.

2. Find the Course Search & Enroll tile, then click “Launch full app.”
   
   

3. Navigate to a specific course using the Course Search tab for courses you are not yet enrolled in or My Courses for courses you are enrolled in or are in your cart.

4. Select the course.

5. Click on See Sections.
   
   

6. Select the desired section.

7. In the section details, click on Instructor provided content.
   
   

8. A pop-up window will appear with the course's instructor provided content.
