Step 4 :  Select the requirement for which you wish to create a DARS exception

The requirements in DARSX should mirror the order in which they appear on a DARS report.

Scroll down to the requirement where you wish to make an exception

In most cases, you will be able to choose a course to add to a requirement. Select the drop-down and choose the course you wish to use in the exception. In other cases, you may be able to specify a different number of credits to satisfy a requirement as well. To do so, type the number of credits into the "Satisfied with credits" box.

Why can't I see all of the requirements on a DARS audit when requesting a DARS exception in DARSX?

There are several roles in the DARSX system. Academic advisors are usually assigned a role that only allows them to view major/certificate requirements. Deans will usually be able to see School/College requirements as well as General Education requirements.
