DARS/Faculty&Staff - A New DARS Request App - Save & Retrieve DORs
Overview
A "Document of Record" is created to establish an "official" version of a Degree Audit Report (DARS Report). Some schools and colleges use DORs as a part of the degree clearance process.

Log into the DARS Request App
Step 1
Go to https://dars.wisc.edu.
Step 2
Login with your NetID.
Save a DOR for an individual student
For staff (faculty, staff), you may save an individual DOR by following these steps:
Step 1
Once you've run an audit, visit the "View Requested Reports" Tab.
Step 2
Find the audit for which you want to save a DOR. In the DOR column, click on the "Save" button.
Save multiple DORs from a batch of audits
For staff (faculty, staff), you may save multiple DORs at once by following these steps:
Step 1
Once you've run a batch of audits, visit the "View Requested Reports" Tab.
Step 2
Expand your batch and click on the checkbox at the batch level.
Step 3
Click on the "Create DORs for Selected Batch Rows" link at the top of the "Batch requests" table.
Note: Once you've clicked this link, you'll see a small pop-up in the lower right-hand corner of your screen indicating the "Batch DOR save job started!".
Retrieve Saved DOR(s)
Step 1
To view a saved Document of Record, go to the "Retrieve Document of Record" tab and enter the intended Campus ID or EMPLID in the dialogue box.
Step 2
In the "Student Information" table, you'll see all of the student's plans. Click "Retrieve" in the right-hand column of the plan row of the DOR you want to view.
The DOR, a text version of the saved degree audit report, will open in a new window.
