Accessibility and usability barriers

The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist within OneTrust.

Screen reader barriers may be difficult for people with visual disabilities

Some elements of OneTrust are not navigable or usable while using a screen reader. This includes:

  • Unlabeled buttons and form fields that make it difficult to complete forms and assessments while using a screen reader.

  • Missing alternative text on some images in the OneTrust platform.

  • Missing “Skip to Main Content” link which may make it difficult to complete multi-page forms and assessments.

Keyboard navigation barriers may be difficult for people with motor disabilities

OneTrust has several barriers to keyboard navigation including:

  • Inability to reach some content via keyboard, such as some drop-down menus and buttons.

  • Missing keyboard shortcuts to be able to use rich text editors via keyboard.

  • Missing or low contrast focus indicators across the application.

Magnification barriers may be difficult for people with low vision.

Above 150% magnification, significant barriers may make it difficult to use OneTrust. These barrier include:

  • Items on the main navigation menu being cut-off when magnified.

  • Form and assessment elements overlapping when magnified.

Color contrast accessibility barriers may be difficult for people with visual disabilities

There are some color contrast barriers across OneTrust, including small and low contrast text and low contrast focus indicators, that may make the application difficult to use for people who are colorblind or have low vision.
