Mental health appointments have remained stable at UW-Madison, though declining at many peer institutions. New this year were weak attention and concentration. Students are finding it difficult to establish a rhythm and pattern.
The new gym, the Nicholas Recreation Center (“the Nick”), has opened at 25% capacity, serving about 2700 people per day. There was a meeting of the Protest Administrative Review Team (PART). Students feel intimidated by the outreach from administration when a protest is planned; this is not the intent, and PART is evaluating.
