WiscWeb - Media Library

Below, you will find a list of the various KnowledgeBase documents relating to using the Media Library in WiscWeb.

Requirements

There are several key pieces of information to be aware of as you are using the Media Library:

  • The following file types can be uploaded to your UW Theme 2.0 website in WiscWeb: jpg jpeg png gif tif webp csv pdf doc ppt odt pptx docx rtf pps ppsx xls xlsx key mp3 m4a ics
    • Note: File types are limited to increase security and accessibility of the files to audiences. If you need to make certain file types available that are not allowed, consider uploading the files to the Box service. Then, link to them directly from your WiscWeb site.

  • The maximum file size for uploading items to your WiscWeb media library is 24MB. If you need to upload a larger file, consider using the Box service.
