The URL for UW-Madison's 1Password instance is uw-madison.1password.com. This is specific to UW-Madison and is different than the URL used for personal 1Password accounts.

What email address will be used for my 1Password account?
New 1Password accounts are created using your netid@wisc.edu email address.
Netid@wisc.edu is used because it is a unique and mostly permanent identifier for users. Users at UW-Madison may have many email addresses in a variety of systems, and can set a preferred email in Profile that differs from their primary email address in Microsoft 365. Preferred and primary email addresses change much more frequently than netid@wisc.edu. Because of these variations across systems, netid@wisc.edu is used to ensure users are able to login to 1Password.

1Password is available on all your devices, so you’ll always have all your information with you. Any changes you make on one device are immediately available everywhere else.
There’s also a lot you can do with the apps, like viewing your Watchtower dashboard, organizing your items with tags and favorites, and much more.

Update your auto-lock timing settings
You can change how often you need to unlock 1Password, like after your device sleeps or you close 1Password.
