Software - SBGrid Download/Installation Instructions

This document contains SBGrid download links and installation instructions for the Biochemistry department.

The UW-Madison Biochemistry department has a special per-lab license agreement for SBGrid.

SBGrid is licensed for regular use by the following labs ONLY.

  • Fox
  • Gisriel
  • Henzler-Wildman
  • Holden
  • Kirchdoerfer
  • Landick
  • Lim
  • Raman
  • Rayment
  • Rienstra
  • Wright
  • Crystallography Core
  • Xu

All other labs and Biochemistry users may use the SBGrid license for informational use only. You must contact Biochemistry IT to be added to the license to use it for research or to publish data from it. You may not publish work from this software unless your lab is licensed for use.

Access to SBGrid is for academic use only. This software may not be used in any for-profit work. Users must agree to and follow the SBGrid End User License Agreement (EULA) at all times.

Registering under your Lab/PI

If you are a new SBGrid user in one of the labs listed above, you are required to register under your PI/lab group. You can register here: https://sbgrid.org/registration/register/

After you complete your registration, instructions and credentials will be emailed to you.
