• New Zoom Minimum Version Requirement Effective March 31, 2026   2026-03-19 15:07:31
  Effective March 31, 2026 the minimum version requirement for the Zoom computer and mobile application will be updated from 6.3.10 to 6.6.0. The web application will not be impacted. All UW-Madison Zoom accounts and individuals attending UW-Madison hosted Zoom meetings will be required to use version 6.6.0 or later.

• Now Available: Zoom AI Companion Can Join Third-Party Meetings   2025-11-20 16:21:51
  Zoom introduced a new setting that allows its AI Companion to join meetings on third-party platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. You can enable or disable the third-party meeting capability manually or allow it to join automatically. This feature offers a great alternative to unapproved third-party AI note takers such as Fireflies, Otter.ai, Read.ai, and more.
