  • Canvas - Instructure Server Maintenance (4/7)   Apr 7, 2020, 9:17 AM CDT

    On Tuesday, April 7th from 12:10 AM to 12:14 AM (CDT), Instructure performed necessary maintenance that affected UW-Madison's instance of Canvas. During this window, users would not have been able to log into Canvas and may have experienced errors.

  • Kaltura Extended Maintenance (March 30 - April 30, 2020)   Apr 9, 2020, 2:29 PM CDT

    [Update: 4/9/20] We are not aware of any significant disruptions to the service since this maintenance was started. Users may experience extended delays with uploading files and accessing their recently added media. This is most likely due to periods of high demand on the service. We recommend that you plan ahead and allow additional time for these functions to complete.

    Users may experience intermittent and unexpected issues while Kaltura makes planned changes through April to meet an increase in usage due to COVID-19.

    Kaltura released a new version of Kaltura MediaSpace analytics on March 24, 2020.

  • Office 365 - Cannot print calendars in new Outlook on the web interface   Sep 23, 2019, 4:16 PM CDT

    As of September 2019, calendar events cannot be printed using the new Outlook on the web interface.

  • Google Voice no longer free for UW-Madison G Suite customers   May 22, 2019, 3:25 PM CDT

    Beginning March 2019, Google changed its terms of service for its Google Voice service to no longer allow G Suite for Education users to create a free phone number using their education email address.
