On October 30, 2026, Qualtrics will permanently retire the URL Proxy service. Any link containing "proxy.qualtrics.com" will stop working that day — including redirects, images, and meeting invites embedded in your surveys and distributions.

Zoom is rolling out an update to its web portal, featuring a cleaner, more intuitive interface designed to make finding settings and tools easier. The redesign mirrors the layout of the Zoom desktop application, making navigation seamless across platforms. This does not impact the Zoom desktop app.
Kaltura - Automatic Human Captioning and Machine Extended Audio Descriptions Enabled [UW-Madison] 2026-08-24 16:20
As of August 24th, 2026, Kaltura will add human-generated captions and computer-generated extended audio descriptions for all videos based on the following triggers:
New Zoom Minimum Version Requirement Effective August 21, 2026 2026-09-03 18:20
Effective August 21, 2026, the minimum version requirement for the Zoom desktop and mobile applications will be updated from 7.0.4 to 7.1.5. All UW-Madison Zoom accounts and individuals attending UW-Madison hosted Zoom meetings will be required to use version 7.1.5 or later.
