Google to Restrict Access to Non-Core Apps for Users Under 18 Starting March 2025

Starting March 2025, Google will restrict access to additional services (non-core apps such as YouTube and Google Analytics) for users under 18. Access is restored once they turn 18. Affected users have received targeted communication in preparation for this change.

This change will affect fewer than 300 UW-Madison Google Workspace accounts.
