Welcome to the IPT Reference KB
This KB site provides help guides for users of the Instructional Planning Tool (IPT) application.
IPT was created to meet the curriculum planning needs of the School of Social Work. Department administrators, program coordinators, and curricular representatives can use IPT to create and review course planning data for future terms. Instructors can use IPT to share their teaching preferences for upcoming semesters with department admins.

Getting started
Currently, this KB covers five core areas of IPT: Academic Year Planning (including the Course page), Timetable Planning, Instructor Management, Edit Funding, and Admin Tools. These topics are listed under the Topic Tree in the upper left.
Each topic has an Overview guide that describes the basic functions of that IPT page and the types of tasks you can complete in that page. Start by reviewing the Overview guides, then use the KB's keyword search to find more specific help as needed.
