Blue - Known Issue - Microsoft Focused Inbox hides Blue Notifications
If you use a Focused Inbox in Microsoft Outlook, your notifications from Blue Course Evaluations might be sorted to your Other folder instead of your inbox.
When the Focused Inbox in Microsoft Outlook is enabled, your Blue Course Evaluation emails might be sorted to your Other folder/mailbox. This may cause you to miss a notification if you do not regularly check your other folder.
Affects
- Students, Staff, and Instructors who use Blue for course evaluations
- Students, Staff and Instructors who use the Focused Inbox setting in Microsoft Outlook.
Workaround
If your Course Evaluation notification emails do not reach your Focused Inbox:

Open the other folder in Outlook

The email will be from studenteval@doit.wisc.edu, with the subject Please Complete Your UW–Madison Course Evaluation Surveys.

Right-click the email and Select Move > Move to Focused inbox. Select Always move to Focused inbox if you want all future messages from the sender to be delivered to the Focused tab.
