Top Hat - Canvas Course Based Roles Mapping

Top Hat is rolling out a new Course Based Roles integration with Canvas that will automatically use assigned roles in Canvas to determine which role that person should have in Top Hat. This new functionality means it will no longer matter if you have an instructor or student account in Top Hat, your access in Top Hat will be determined by your role in Canvas.

Here is a table showing how each Canvas role in the UW-Madison instance of Canvas maps to roles in Top Hat.
