Blue - Viewing Currently Running Surveys (Instructor, Admin) [UW-Madison]

In Blue, you can view your currently running surveys and check response rates by opening Subject Management. This document explains how to open subject management as an instructor or administrator.

Viewing Response Rates or Current Surveys from Canvas (instructors)

  1. Open a Canvas Course where you are enrolled as an instructor.
  2. Select Course Evaluations from the sidebar. This will open Blue.
  3. When you access Blue, you will see a screen titled Subject management. This shows each running survey and its courses. Each of your courses will be shown on tile with the following information:
    1. Survey status
    2. Survey name
    3. Course name
    4. Number of responses 
    5. Response rate (percentage)
    6. Evaluation end date
    7. Date 

Viewing Response Rates or Current Surveys from Blue (instructors and Blue admins)

  1. If you access Blue directly at https://studenteval.wisc.edu, you will open your home dashboard. 
  2. To see response rates or currently running surveys, select the Subject management widget on the sidebar of your dashboard.
    Note: This widget is displayed on screen only while an evaluation is open.
    Subject Management tile. Select "manage your subjects" to open.
  3. The Subject management screen shows each running survey and its courses. Each course will be shown on tile with the following information:
    1. Survey status
    2. Survey name
    3. Course name
    4. Number of responses 
    5. Response rate (percentage)
    6. Evaluation end date
    7. Date
